Our Team

Eli Moyer, MA

Co-Founder & Director

Eli brings his artistic spirit, cross-cultural experience, and academic grounding to the task of connecting people across cultures. For a collective 8 years Eli has lived cross-culturally in five different countries on three continents. In every place, he has seen the joy and pride people feel in the unique expressions of their own nationality, language, history, culture, and arts. He desires to see these cultures shine with beauty and God-given worth inherent in each of them and believes exchange through the arts a powerful way to do this.

Eli holds Masters degrees in World Arts (Dallas International University) and in Intercultural Studies (Biola University), and a Bachelor of Arts in Music (University of Pennsylvania). He runs Apricot Media & Consulting, created to champion unsung cultures through ethnographic media. And from 2017-2022 he co-hosted and produced CaucasTalk, a podcast devoted to culture, history, and tourism in the North Caucasus mountains.

Now with his wife Hollie and five children, Eli lives in Tbilisi, Georgia where he enjoys writing on his typewriter, rock climbing, strong black tea, and exploring the beautiful country of Georgia and its peoples with his family.

Michelle Gagnon

Gallery Curator

Michelle is a passionate “artist’s ally” who loves connecting with and supporting local artists in the Caucasus region. She has been a part of the arts scene in Tbilisi for the last 7+ years and her main interests are integrating the visual and performing arts with cross-cultural collaboration.

Michelle holds an interdisciplinary degree in Film and Media Studies and Art History (Arizona State University). She is a screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, art collector, and the curator of our gallery.

After 5 years of living in Vake, Tbilisi, Michelle moved to Mtskheta , the ancient capital of Georgia, where she can be closer to nature with her family and menagerie of pets. The peace and quiet of the Mt'k'vari  River and her little garden inspire her to create. You will most likely find her foraging for wild flowers and wandering the fields with the local horses in her scattered moments of peace between her many creative endeavours.
